This is a great horned owl in Salmonier Nature Park, Newfoundland, Canada. He is very friendly and enjoys having visitors. I almost feel like he is lonely here, and whenever someone comes, he tries to get closer and keeps looking - it makes me feel "guilty" to leave him...

Great focus - sad picture but I'm betting he's well cared for and would not survive in the wild. Most birds in nature parks are rescued, I think.
